Calgary 2012 is asking experienced arts administrators to submit an expression of interest for contract administrative services. In 2012, we want to inspire Calgarians and the world and we need administrative support from established arts administrators and consultants.

Request for Proposal - Public Relations Services

Calgary 2012 is looking for an individual or firm to provide contract public relations services. The proposal should incorporate the development of a comprehensive public relations plan for regional and national media coverage for the 2012 celebration year in support of Calgary 2012’s Manager, Marketing & Communications.  

 
As Calgary 2012’s contracted PR service provider, you will be offered the unique opportunity to join a movement to reinforce Calgary’s creative voice internationally and solidify our significant voice in the Canadian cultural landscape.

Calgary 2012 - Job Opportunity - Part Time Bookkeeper

Calgary 2012 is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to assist with the daily financial acitivities of the organization.

This is position offers the opportunity to contribute to the vitality and health of Calgary’s arts and cultural sectors. Reporting to the Managing Producer, this position is part-time, salary to commensurate with experience. 


Responsibilities will include: 

·         Maintain general ledger by posting and recording financial transactions
·         Maintain historical records
·         Generate reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing account information and trends.
·         Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
·         Contribute to annual audit

Calgary revealed as 2012 host city for the Magnetic North Theatre Festival (June 28) Calgary will host the 10th edition of the Magnetic North Theatre Festival, Canada’s National Festival of Contemporary Canadian Theatre in English, in June 2012.
