David Suzuki is an award-winning geneticist, environmentalist, broadcaster and the founder and chair of the David Suzuki Foundation. He has been educating people for over 40 years on environmental issues and science. Suzuki has received many honours and awards, including being named an Officer of the Order of Canada and was nominated as one of the top 10 "Greatest Canadians" by viewers of the CBC. 

Suzuki has penned 49 books including his latest book, The Legacy: An Elder’s Vision for Our Sustainable Future, an environmental explanation on how we got where we are today and his vision for a better future. The book is also being adapted into a film.
