THE HOMES + STUDIOS
Explore the warehouse studio and extraordinary objects of sculptor Alex Caldwell. Steel, aluminum, bronze and cast glass sculptures are hand-built, in-house in this state of the art fabrication and bronze foundry located in the heart of Ramsay.
Passionate art collector Jim Hill opens the doors to his corporate office where art and business happily co-exist. The large collection of formalist, abstract paintings and sculptures from the 1950’s to the 1970’s will lift your spirit.
Abstract painter, Cindy Delpart reinterprets the prairie landscape through gestural marks representing wind, grass and glacier. Explore this 1950’s home and studio in Mount Royal designed by the late architect Bill Milne.
Explore the exciting world of fine press books and printmaking in the home-based bindery and printshop of Lisa Isley. Her mastery of etchings, engravings, linocuts, woodcuts, monoprints and bookbinding reflect the techniques and processes of historic bookmaking.
Threadwork, silkscreen, hand-dying and nuno felting are the choice of expression for fibre artist, Margot van Lindenberg. Inspired by ethnic cultures, her organic designs are both sculptural and wearable.
