Event Description:
From June through September, six Public Art events in Calgary will give citizens and visitors the opportunity to celebrate and reflect upon the precious Bow River. Each event will feature a different artist and provide an artistic opportunity to experience the Bow River and think about its importance as a life-sustaining resource. This beautiful project celebrates the Bow River as our life source and as our communal gathering place for people living and visiting in Calgary. Calgary’s past and future is tied directly to the health of the Bow and Elbow Rivers and the surrounding streams and creeks that feed them. Celebration of the Bow River 2010 includes six public art events and installations, each featuring a different artist who highlights our connection to the river and creates opportunities for citizens to further appreciate and protect this resource.

Thank you for sharing this
Thank you for sharing this valuable information. Right now I'm busy with my work for 646-046 and 650-568 exam and then I'm planning to go to Canada for my final project of 646-223 and 646-230. That's why these days I'm too busy with my documents and can not afford to search for these same things. Keep sharing...
