Double bassist Chris Jennings will be performing in trio at the Beat Niq Jazz Club:

Since moving to Paris, France in 2002, bassist Chris Jennings has been returning regularly to his home town, Calgary. This time, he is excited to present a unique trio project with featuring well known local jazz musicians, saxophonist Jim Brenan drummer Andy Ericson. For over 8 years now, Calgarian bassist CHRIS JENNINGS has established himself as double bassist in Europe with renowned jazz guitarist Nguyen Lê’s New Quartet (with Rita Marcotulli and Danny Gottlieb), the Dhafer Youssef Quartet (with Tigran Hamasyan and Mark Guiliana) and renowned Turkish Ney musician Kudsi Erguner Group and his own trio with renowned NY drummer now in France Leon Parker.
