Event Description:
During her CAMPER residency, Cécile Belmont will conduct Letter Performance. A group of local residents, each wearing a single letter affixed to their shirt, will come together to build a sentence, addressing Calgary's multifaceted relationship with the Bow River. This work seeks to draw a portrait of the Bow River area through its users, exposing the specificities, memory, and the relationship of the inhabitants with their river.
Cécile Belmont is a French visual artist based in Berlin. She studied textile design in Paris, France and painting in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
