The second concert of the Mountain View Connection’s 2009/10 season features two monumental chamber works by Brahms, the G-minor Piano Quartet and the Piano Trio No. 3 in C-minor, Op. 101. The old fashioned ambiance and intimacy at the Lougheed House add a wonderful dimension to the experience of listening to chamber music for the audience.
Violinist Brinna Brinkerhoff, violist Liza Scriggins Lowry and cellist Olena Kilchyk will join pianists Charles Foreman and Kathleen van Mourik for the performance.
Founded in 1994, the Mountain View Connection Concert Series provides opportunities for young musicians from across Canada and around the world to gain valuable experience performing and perfecting the song and chamber music repertoire. The Mountain View Connection moves their concert series to the historic Lougheed House 2009/10 season.
