EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts is proud to present a unique experience for fine art fanatics and casual passers-by — the uncensored creation of an art exhibition from start to finish.
RICHard SMOLinski will be recreating drawings of each illustration found inside The Oxford History of Western Art from memory; the audience is invited to watch as the artist recreates approximately 500 classic works from this influential art historical work. As the performance unfolds, the completed drawings will be housed in a series of binders which are available for viewing. The exhibition begins March 4 and runs until April 30 and will require more than 125 hours to complete.
