At the end of a twelve-hour shift spent clear-cutting land, Jamie sifts through the destruction he has caused to rescue injured birds. He dreams of getting out, escaping to a better life, but his upcoming wedding to Krista will only further entrench his roots in his hometown. Rich with dark humour and vibrant dialogue, Bone Cage examines the cost to the human spirit for those forced by circumstance to destroy what they love, showing us the life-blood of rural Canada flowing through the bone-caged human heart.
