With an exhibition of selected artworks by Olivier Martini and a screening of Shattered Dreams, directed by Wendy Hill-Tout, and written and narrated by Clem Martini
On March 18, join Freehand Books in celebrating the launch of Bitter Medicine: A Graphic Memoir of Mental Illness at The Nickle Arts Museum at the University of Calgary. An exhibition of selected artworks by Olivier Martini and a screening of the documentary Shattered Dreams, written and narrated by Clem Martini, will be followed by a reading from Bitter Medicine and a Q & A with both authors. Refreshments will be served.
Admission is free; however, donations will be accepted on behalf of the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta. Raffle tickets for artworks by Olivier Martini will be available, with all funds generated going to the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta.
